1. Roca Honda Mine Scoping Comments. In April, 2011 NMAC followed up on its comments by requesting Consulting Party Status on the Roca Honda Uranium Mine. This is a US Forest Service undertaking located near Mount Taylor. NMAC was given Consulting Party Status on May 3, 2011. Doug Dykeman attended the first meeting of the consulting parties on June 8, 2011 in Grants, NM. The object of the meeting was to introduce the parties to the project and provide a tour of the proposed mine. At the meeting the concerns raised in NMAC's scoping comments were reiterated.
